Becky Suss
Suss creates paintings of objects and domestic interiors filtered through memory and recollection. Her works weave references to family narratives throughout, using books and material culture as symbolic touchstones—from childhood editions of D'Aulaires' Book of Greek Myths to marbled papers gifted by family friends. She approaches painting not as documentary snapshot but as remembered and imagined space, drawn to how mirrors and reflective surfaces convey distorted realities. Suss has exhibited at major institutions including the Museum of Fine Arts Boston, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and MoMA Los Angeles, with work held in numerous public collections.

Carmen Winant
Winant is recognized for large-scale photographic collages exploring feminist care networks and kinship across generations. Her practice involves sourcing and juxtaposing photographs from archival books and magazines alongside her own imagery, investigating how lineage transcends biological inheritance to encompass gender, political, and creative affiliation. In recent projects, she has documented childbirth and abortion clinic labor, assembling over 2,500 photographs in The last safe abortion. For The Present, Winant dyes both paper supports and images with food coloring, creating gridded works that function simultaneously as abstraction and image archive, sourced from her grandmother's collection of 1960s–90s books.
