Roach works across sound, video, installation, and object-making, developing work that responds fluidly to available materials and collaborators—glass blowers, coders, scientists, percussionists, poets. His practice investigates how materials, objects, and sensory experience filter through human perception. He studied English at Rutgers University and earned an MFA in Painting from Hunter College. Recent work includes a residency at Zion National Park, where he became the first sound artist selected for the program, alongside domestic and international exhibitions.
