MENASA+: Thresholds of Representation surveys artists from the Middle East, North Africa, and Asian diaspora, centering practitioners whose work emerges from lived experiences of migration, hybridity, and gender. The exhibition frames these artistic dialogues through conditions of making—translation, survival, inheritance, reinvention, and resistance—positioning identity in art as continuously negotiated across borders and histories. Through painting, sculpture, photography, and mixed media, each work operates as testimony and proposition, asserting that art from these regions is defined by imagination, resilience, and creative power.
