GOD'S WORK

Masina Frank is an artist and event producer who harnesses research and performance practices towards deeply embodied historical inquiry. Her collaborative work with Ella Konefal on GOD'S WORK employs material experimentation and ritualistic methodologies to unearth suppressed modernist legacies. Frank invites other artists into SOUL STAKE activations where participants channel or embody works from the Degenerate Art catalog, transforming passive reflection into visceral embodiment. Her practice rejects sterile commemoration, instead igniting dynamic dialogue on non-conformism and the enduring power of art to unsettle and reactivate historical tensions.

Ella Konefal is a transdisciplinary artist who calls on tactile and conceptual strategies to feel at the edges and depths of palimpsestic time. In GOD'S WORK, she collaboratively decomposes propaganda's machinery through material play and participatory ritual, probing what lingers when history passes through contemporary prisms. Konefal's methodology dances across disciplines, decomposing icons into raw fragments that challenge viewers to confront complicity and memory. Her work amplifies the original condemned artists' irony, forging communal rite that metabolizes the past and positions art as a vital stake in contested historical ground.
