Sebastian Errazuriz (Chilean, b. 1977) twists expectations of furniture, lighting, and everyday objects through humor and appropriation. His limited edition and one-of-a-kind pieces embed personal narratives, political messages, and cultural commentary beneath their formal and functional surfaces. Working across design, craft, and installation, Errazuriz disrupts conventional object-making by reimagining how people inhabit and interact with domestic and public spaces. His practice increasingly engages artificial intelligence and digital manipulation of historical sources, particularly Greco-Roman antiquities, recontextualizing classical forms for contemporary living. His work has been exhibited internationally at institutions including the Museum of Arts and Design in New York, Carnegie Museum of Art, and art fairs including Art Basel Miami Beach and the Armory Art Show.
