About

Power Plant Grants, run by Big Car Collaborative with funding from the Andy Warhol Foundation's Regional Regranting Program, award five project grants of $12,000 each to Indiana visual artists making new, public-facing work that takes a risk. For 2026 eligibility widens from Indianapolis to the whole state. Applicants propose a project presented outside conventional arts venues, through Submittable. An independent panel scores impact, goals, audience and innovation, interviews finalists in December, and announces grantees December 18. Info sessions run through November 12.

Eligibility

Visual and multidisciplinary artists who live in Indiana, are 21 or older on the deadline and are not full-time students; teams and unincorporated collectives qualify if the lead artist lives in Indiana. 501(c)(3) organizations cannot apply, and funded work must be presented in Indiana.

Applications happen on Big Car Collaborative's website. Seeke reviews and indexes the listing but does not accept applications.
