Michigan Central Art
You should apply if you're a U.S.-based artist or designer whose work engages technology or health.

About
Michigan Central Art and Newlab Detroit are selecting fellows for a 12-week, research-based residency in Detroit's 30-acre Michigan Central innovation district. Each fellow receives a $30,000 unrestricted award, access to fabrication facilities, research opportunities and mentorship from people in the arts, technology, health and sciences. There are two tracks: the Art + Technology Fellowship Prize, funded by the Knight Foundation, and the Art + Health Fellowship Prize, run with Henry Ford Health. Fellows work alongside founders, researchers and clinicians and lead public talks and workshops. Sessions run February 8 to April 30 and May 17 to August 6, 2027; fellows are announced in January.
