Surel's Place Artist-in-Residence: July–December 2027
the opportunity
Surel's Place runs roughly month-long residencies in Surel's former live-work home in Garden City, Idaho. The house has a large studio with 10-foot ceilings, a painting wall, an easel and work tables, plus a full kitchen and living space. Residents may also join the optional Partner School Program, leading at least four sessions at a partner school for an additional stipend and an outreach materials budget. Applicants complete the online form and email a professional bio of up to 250 words, a full proposal, two housing references and two professional references. This deadline covers residencies from July to December 2027.
eligibility
Professional visual and literary artists; the house suits artists who need a quiet place to focus. Collaborating artists submit a typed description of the collaboration.
