FY27 Portland Arts Project Grant
the opportunity
Project grants of $1,000 to $5,000 for Portland-based individual artists, artist teams, arts businesses, and organizations, administered by the Regional Arts & Culture Council on behalf of the City of Portland's Office of Arts & Culture. The General Fund category funds the making and sharing of work in any creative discipline, including programming, presentations, events, artistic development, and the creation of new artworks, as long as the project includes at least one planned way for the public to engage with it. RACC is distributing $1.2 million in total across this and a separate Arts Access Fund category for schools and nonprofits. Applications are submitted through RACC's online Opportunity Portal; funding decisions are announced by March 31, 2027, and grantees must claim funds by June 30, 2027.
eligibility
Individual artists, artist teams, arts businesses, and arts-focused organizations (or applicants with fiscal sponsors) legally residing or headquartered within the City of Portland, Oregon service area. Currently enrolled students and organizations receiving City Operating Support are not eligible.
