About
The Alonzo Davis Fellowship is a fully funded two-week residency at the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts' Mt. San Angelo campus for American writers, visual artists and composers of African or Latin American descent. Fellows receive a $500 honorarium and attend during the September 1 to December 31, 2027 residency period. Applicants complete VCCA's Fall 2027 residency application and select the fellowship in question 2. Applications open October 1, 2026, and VCCA notifies applicants by April 30, 2027.
Eligibility
American writers, visual artists and composers of African or Latin American descent. Applicants use the general Fall 2027 Mt. San Angelo residency application and choose the fellowship on it.
