You should apply if you're an artist in any discipline living in central or eastern Arkansas or the Delta with three or more years of practice.
About
Mid-America Arts Alliance's Catalyze program, funded by the Windgate Foundation, awards 25 artists a $10,000 practice-based fellowship each year, to spend on whatever moves their practice forward: equipment, travel, studio rent, childcare, services or savings. Fellows join a cohort with a professional development retreat in May 2027, small-group sessions and one-on-one coaching through April 2028, guided by artist peer facilitators. Applications are open October 1 to December 1, 2026; applicants are notified in March 2027 and $9,500 is paid in June 2027, with the final $500 after reporting in 2028.
Eligibility
Artists of any discipline who live in one of 52 named counties in central and eastern Arkansas and the Arkansas Delta (including Pulaski, Faulkner, Garland, Jefferson, Craighead and Union), with at least three years of creative practice before the deadline and an interest in working within a peer cohort.
