CURRENTS New Media, a Santa Fe nonprofit, is taking submissions for CURRENTS 2027, its annual art and technology festival at El Museo Cultural in the Santa Fe Railyard Arts District, June 11 to 20, 2027. Categories are installations, audio experiences, virtual and mixed reality, robotics and kinetic work, multimedia performance, fabrication and wearables, and experimental single-channel video and animation. Applicants submit an online form per work with samples viewable online. Some categories may receive travel, lodging, shipping and equipment support. Notifications go out February 15 and March 15, 2027.
Eligibility
No location or career-stage limit is stated; artists from anywhere may submit, though the festival may not cover international shipping. Work must fit one of the seven art-and-technology categories. AI use is accepted if disclosed in the work statement.
