Embracing Our Differences 2028 Exhibition
Embracing Our Differences
You should apply if you make original visual work in any medium — this call is open to artists anywhere, aged 13 and up.
About
Embracing Our Differences, a Sarasota nonprofit, runs an annual international juried outdoor exhibition of 50 billboard-size images, each 16 by 12.5 feet and paired with a quotation. Shown mid-January through April at sites along Florida's Cultural Coast, the exhibition has drawn more than 5.6 million visitors since 2004. Artists submit digital files of original work on the theme of embracing our differences, horizontal at a 16:11 ratio and at least 300 dpi, with a 150-word artist statement. A blind panel of artists, curators and art professionals makes the selection. Cash awards total $6,000: $2,000 each for the top adult entry, the top student entry and a visitors' choice award.
Eligibility
Open to artists of all ages and experience levels worldwide, from professionals to students and amateurs. Online entrants must be 13 or older (younger with parent or guardian consent). Work must be original, horizontal, and not AI-generated; there is no limit on entries.
Applications happen on Embracing Our Differences's website. Seeke reviews and indexes the listing but does not accept applications.
