Colored Pencil Society of America
You should apply if you're 18 or older, anywhere, making work that is mostly colored pencil mixed with other media.
About
The Colored Pencil Society of America's Explore This! is an online juried exhibition for work that is predominantly colored pencil but mixes in other media or techniques that would rule it out of CPSA's International Exhibition. Juror Nadiah Rivera Fellah, a curator at the Cleveland Museum of Art, selects the show. Awards include a $2,000 top prize (the EXPY award) plus about $8,000 in cash and product awards. Selected artists are announced January 15, 2027, and the show opens online with the awards on February 1, 2027. Artists may enter up to two works made on or after January 1, 2024.
Eligibility
Living artists 18 or older anywhere; members and non-members are treated equally. Work must be predominantly colored pencil combined with another medium or technique, made on or after January 1, 2024, and not shown in a previous CPSA exhibition. The juror selects at most one work per artist.
Applications happen on Colored Pencil Society of America's website. Seeke reviews and indexes the listing but does not accept applications.
