About
The Ian Potter Cultural Trust offers grants of up to $15,000 to emerging and early-career Australian artists for structured professional development, mainly overseas: residencies, mentorships, study tours, masterclasses, internships, conferences and workshops, for travel or projects after April 1, 2027. Applicants are expected to make a reasonable personal financial contribution. The round opens November 24, 2026 and closes Tuesday, January 19, 2027 at 5PM AEDT.
Eligibility
Aged 18 or older, Australian citizen or permanent resident with an Australian bank account, generally within 10 years of a first formal arts qualification. Anyone who received or acquitted a Trust grant in the last two years cannot apply.
