KORDON Winter-Spring 2027 Self-Directed Residency
KORDON
You should apply if you're a creative professional in any discipline, from anywhere, looking for a self-funded residency on an Estonian island.

About
KORDON, an artist-run residency on the Estonian island of Hiiumaa, is taking applications for self-directed, self-funded stays of two or four weeks between January and early June 2027, with priority for four-week applications. Residents choose a small studio-bedroom (17 sq m) suited to desk-based work or a large loft studio (40 sq m) with a projector, and share a kitchen, garden and greenhouse. Bedding, utilities, heating, internet and bicycles are included. Applicants pick dates and a studio and send the application form; selection weighs professional experience, past work, the project idea and fit with other residents. KORDON sends a confirmation letter that selected artists can use to seek outside funding.
Eligibility
Open to creative professionals in any field, including visual artists, architects, filmmakers, writers, musicians, performing artists, curators and researchers, working alone or in collaboration. Selection is based on professional experience and quality of past work.
Applications happen on KORDON's website. Seeke reviews and indexes the listing but does not accept applications.
