The Red River Valley Museum in Vernon, Texas holds its annual juried art show and sale for artists from across the nation. The 2027 exhibit runs June 7 to July 10, with an opening reception and awards on June 5, and cash prizes are presented. All 2D and 3D media are welcome, including sculpture, and every submitted work must be for sale, with the museum keeping a 20% commission. Artists enter by US mail, email or a Google form with one to three works, and accepted artists are notified by email in early March and deliver work by April 24. Work must be original, not made in a class, and not AI-generated. Entries close January 31, 2027 at 5 p.m., and 2D work must be professionally framed and wired.
Eligibility
Artists aged 18 or older from anywhere in the country, working in any 2D or 3D medium. Work must be original, available for sale and not created in a class or workshop; AI-generated art, reproductions and copied photographs are not allowed.
