ROAR, the Art of Cats 2026
Wild Heart Gallery
You should apply if you're an artist 18 or older, anywhere, making original non-AI work that features cats.
About
Wild Heart Gallery, an online gallery for animal and wildlife art, is taking entries for ROAR, the Art of Cats 2026, an international virtual exhibition about cats of every kind: wild, stray, feral and pet. Any style is welcome, from realism to abstraction, in 2D and 3D work including painting, printmaking, pastel, sculpture, ceramics, mixed media, photography and original digital art (no AI). Jurors Sarah Soward and Sharon Eisley select the show, which runs online for at least a month on the gallery's site and social channels. Cash awards include $350 for the top work, $150 each for wild and domestic cat categories, and a $75 Artivism Award.
Eligibility
Artists 18 or older anywhere. Work must be original, contain no AI, feature a cat of any species, and not have appeared in an earlier Wild Heart Gallery show.
Applications happen on Wild Heart Gallery's website. Seeke reviews and indexes the listing but does not accept applications.
