SYMPOIESIS: Situated Residencies 2027
AADK Spain
You should apply if you're an artist or researcher working with landscape, ecology or community practice.
About
AADK Spain's Situated Residencies run from January to December 2027 at Centro Negra in Blanca, Murcia, for one to six months (two recommended). This edition's theme, Sympoiesis, treats landscape, land and its elements as co-authors of the work, and also welcomes participatory and community-based projects that build social networks. Residents get a private room in a shared house, workspace and exhibition space, technical equipment, mentoring, technical guidance, production assistance and a presentation of their process. AADK and the Municipality of Blanca co-fund part of each residency's cost.
Eligibility
Artists and researchers whose projects engage landscape, ecology or participatory and community-based practice; individuals and collectives may apply.
Applications happen on AADK Spain's website. Seeke reviews and indexes the listing but does not accept applications.
