The Yunghi Grant 2026
Yunghi Kim Contact Press Images
You should apply if you're a freelance photojournalist anywhere earning at least half your income from that work.
About
The Yunghi Grant gifts $24,000 in total, with each grantee receiving $4,000, in recognition of the values photojournalists hold essential. Funds can start, advance or finish a project or simply cover everyday living expenses. Jurors assess each applicant as a whole, including body of work, vision, style and website, and read submissions as they arrive, so early entry is encouraged. Applications go by email with the subject line Yunghi Grant 2026. The deadline is Sunday, December 6.
Eligibility
Working freelance photojournalists worldwide who earn at least half of their income from freelance photojournalism. Full-time salaried or staff photographers, full-time educators and full-time students are not eligible, nor are applicants living in countries under U.S. sanctions.
Applications happen on Yunghi Kim Contact Press Images's website. Seeke reviews and indexes the listing but does not accept applications.
