About
The Arizona Pastel Artists Association's 11th Open International Exhibition and Sale hangs 80 pastel paintings at the Phippen Museum of Western Art in Prescott from February 27 to April 18, 2027. About $10,000 in awards is offered, including a $1,000 top prize and cash awards for first through fourth place. Sarah Blumenschein and Margaret Larlham select the show and Steve Atkinson judges awards. Artists enter up to three paintings through ShowSubmit. Accepted work appears in the show catalog and on APAA's website, and all work must be for sale; the artist keeps 60% of a sale.
Eligibility
Open to all pastel artists. Work must be original, at least 85% dry pastel, completed 2024–2026, not shown in an earlier APAA exhibition and not made in a class or workshop; reference photos must be the artist's own.
