About

The Kennedy Center's Access/VSA Emerging Young Artists Program, a Jean Kennedy Smith Arts and Disability Program, is a national juried exhibition of work by young visual artists with disabilities. The 2027 theme, Thrive, asks artists how their life and their art are flourishing, and how their work is changing as they grow. Fifteen artists are selected; each receives a $3,000 stipend, takes part in professional development activities, and has one submitted work shown in the exhibition. The Kennedy Center offers an Application 101 webinar on its program page for questions about applying.

Eligibility

Visual artists with disabilities, aged 16 to 25, living in the United States.

Applications happen on Kennedy Center (VSA)'s website. Seeke reviews and indexes the listing but does not accept applications.
