About

The Museum of Northern Arizona's Namingha Institute is a paid two-week residency, April 25 to May 9, 2027, for six artists on the museum's Flagstaff campus. Residents stay in rustic cabins near the studio, receive a $1,500 stipend for travel and expenses, take one-on-one classes with master artists Dan and Arlo Namingha (Tewa-Hopi), and tour the Easton Collection Center. The residency closes with an exhibit and public reception on May 7, where artists may sell work. Applicants email a letter of interest, an artist statement of up to 200 words, a CV and five to ten images of work from the last five years.
