2027 Project Grants (DCLA Premier and Art Fund)
Staten Island Arts
You should apply if you're an artist living on Staten Island with a public project planned for the borough.
About
Staten Island Arts regrants New York City Department of Cultural Affairs funds to artists for projects presented on Staten Island. DCLA Premier Grants, for first-time applicants, award $750 to $5,000; DCLA Art Fund Grants, for artists and collectives previously funded by Staten Island Arts, award $750 to $7,000. Applications open November 16, 2026 in the online grants portal. Applicants submit a work sample (visual artists up to eight images), project description, budget and resume or bio. An outside panel of artists and arts professionals makes the decisions, and funded projects must be completed and shown to the public within the grant year.
Eligibility
Staten Island residents creating projects on Staten Island during the grant year: individual artists, unincorporated collectives and Staten Island-based nonprofits, in any discipline. First-time applicants must attend an information session and apply for a Premier Grant.
Applications happen on Staten Island Arts's website. Seeke reviews and indexes the listing but does not accept applications.
