Waterworks Exhibition Submissions, January 2027 Review
Waterworks Visual Arts Center
You should apply if you're an emerging or established artist anywhere with a recent body of fine art or craft ready for a museum exhibition.
About
Waterworks Visual Arts Center in Salisbury, North Carolina, a non-collecting art museum accredited by the American Alliance of Museums, reviews exhibition proposals twice a year, with deadlines on January 30 and September 30. It presents three major rotating exhibitions of contemporary fine art and craft each year, plus an annual outdoor sculpture show, and books its calendar 18 to 24 months ahead. Artists submit a CV, an artist statement tied to the work, and 10 to 20 images of recent work completed within the last five years, through SlideRoom. Proposals are reviewed within 60 to 90 days of the deadline; a review is not a guarantee of an exhibition.
Eligibility
Emerging and established artists with professional credentials, from the local area to international. All submitted work must be recent (completed within the last five years) and available to exhibit; fine art and craft in any medium.
Applications happen on Waterworks Visual Arts Center's website. Seeke reviews and indexes the listing but does not accept applications.
