2027 West Seattle Garden Tour Art Competition
West Seattle Garden Tour
You should apply if you're a Washington State artist making original two-dimensional work at 16 by 20 inches or larger.
About
The West Seattle Garden Tour, a volunteer nonprofit that funds local horticulture, education and arts groups, picks one artwork each year to front its tour. The winner receives $750, and the piece becomes the image on the 2027 bookmarks, posters and ticket-book cover; the tour then owns the original and auctions it on tour day for its grant recipients. Winning and honorable-mention works are shown at West Seattle Art Walks in May and June 2027. Round one is digital: up to two works, each submitted with a full view and up to three detail photos. Finalists are contacted by November 21 to bring originals for judging in December.
Eligibility
Open to all Washington State residents except active West Seattle Garden Tour committee members and their immediate families. Up to two original 2-D works in any fine art medium, made in the last five years, at least 16 x 20 inches, never published or reproduced, and not entered before.
Applications happen on West Seattle Garden Tour's website. Seeke reviews and indexes the listing but does not accept applications.
