Lowe House Exhibition 2027
the opportunity
Maryland Federation of Art has been invited to hang a juried exhibition of original 2D work at the Lowe House of Delegates Office Building at 6 Bladen Street in Annapolis, the office building for Maryland's state delegates. Juror Teddy Johnson, Academic Chair of Visual Arts and Associate Professor at Anne Arundel Community College and former director of its Cade Gallery, makes the blind selection and designates awards totaling $500. Any 2D medium that follows MFA's entry guidelines qualifies; artists may enter up to six original works made within the past three years through ArtCall.org, where each work is a separate paid application with up to two images. Artists' names are hidden from the juror, so watermarks are discouraged.

Open to Maryland Federation of Art members or artists residing in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. Original 2D work only, created by the artist's own hand within the past three years; no reproductions or generative-AI work.

$45 for 1 or 2 entries (MFA members $30); up to 4 additional entries $6.75 each (members $4.50), non-refundable
