3rd Annual Light & Luminosity International Open Online Exhibition
Pastel Society of South Carolina
You should apply if you're a pastel artist 18 or older, from anywhere in the world, working in soft pastel.
About
The Pastel Society of South Carolina's third annual Light & Luminosity show is an online exhibition open to members and non-members worldwide. Artists may enter up to five soft pastel paintings through ShowSubmit, and up to two per artist can be juried in. Lyn Asselta, an IAPS Eminent Pastelist and Master Pastelist of the Pastel Society of America, serves as both juror of selection and judge of awards. Acceptances go out November 20, 2026; the exhibition opens online on November 21 with a virtual awards reception on Zoom and stays up until December 21. Any subject or style is eligible. Work can be listed for sale, with buyers contacting the artist directly, or marked not for sale.
Eligibility
Pastel artists 18 and older anywhere. Work must be original, at least 80% soft pastel (no oil pastel), completed within the last three years, and not made in a class or workshop, copied from others' images, made with AI, or a prior award winner in a national or international pastel show.
Applications happen on Pastel Society of South Carolina's website. Seeke reviews and indexes the listing but does not accept applications.
