Myren Gård Artist in Residence 2027
Agder Kunstsenter
You should apply if you're a professional visual artist anywhere able to fund your own living costs for up to three months in Norway.
About
The Municipality of Kristiansand and Agder Kunstsenter offer professional artists up to three months rent-free at the historic Myren Gård, a park and event site that is also home to the printmakers' collective Myren Grafiske Fellesverksted. Two artists stay at a time, each with a private bedroom and shared living and studio space; electricity and internet are covered. Experienced printmakers may use the print workshop free of charge, and a larger studio in the city may be available on request. Local hosts connect residents with the art scene, and residents are encouraged to give an open studio or artist talk.
Eligibility
Professional visual artists, national and international. Residents must live and work on site and cover their own living, travel, material and insurance costs; one period a year can be linked to funding through Norway's Cultural Rucksack program.
Applications happen on Agder Kunstsenter's website. Seeke reviews and indexes the listing but does not accept applications.
