Asian Cultural Council 2027 Fellowships and Grants
Asian Cultural Council
You should apply if you're an artist from the U.S. or Asia seeking cultural-exchange travel rather than funds to produce a specific work.
About
The Asian Cultural Council's 2027 cycle funds artists, scholars and arts professionals for immersive cultural-exchange experiences between the U.S. and Asia, and within Asia. Programs include a six-month New York Fellowship for people from Asia, an Individual Fellowship of one to six months for participants from Asia and the U.S. (open to joint applications of up to three), a Graduate Fellowship and an Organization Grant. Applications run October 1 to November 10, 2026, with recommendation letters due November 16; funded activity must fall between August 1, 2027 and December 31, 2028. Production projects, such as making a film or organizing an exhibition, are not funded.
Eligibility
Artists, scholars and arts professionals from Asia and the U.S. proposing cultural-exchange experiences within the grant period; each program has extra requirements, and activities aimed at a predetermined work product are ineligible.
Applications happen on Asian Cultural Council's website. Seeke reviews and indexes the listing but does not accept applications.
