Art and Bitcoin: International Open Call for an Artwork Proposal
Nadace pro současné umění Praha
You should apply if you're an artist or artist team aged 18 or older, anywhere in the world, who can propose a work responding to Bitcoin.
About
The Foundation for Contemporary Art Prague runs an international competition, started by the Czech Bitcoin community Jednadvacet.org, for proposals for a new artwork reflecting Bitcoin. Applicants email a concept, project, intervention scenario or performance proposal in any medium, in English or Czech, with a realization budget of up to 1,000,000 CZK. A five-person commission picks five finalists who receive 21,000 CZK each. One winner gets a further 95,000 CZK for documentation and an open license, so the work can be realized by anyone.
Eligibility
Individual artists or artist teams represented by one person; age 18 or over, any nationality, any medium. Proposals are judged anonymously and must be written in English or Czech.
Applications happen on Nadace pro současné umění Praha's website. Seeke reviews and indexes the listing but does not accept applications.
