About

Kentler International Drawing Space in Red Hook, Brooklyn, is taking exhibition proposals for its 2028 schedule. The nonprofit's program centres on drawing and work on paper by local, national and international artists, and it gives priority to solo shows and to artists who have not had a solo exhibition at Kentler before; only the back gallery is used for solo shows. Artists fill out the online form and email eight JPEG images, an image description sheet and a résumé or bio. The advisory board meets once a year to review proposals, and exhibitions are scheduled a year in advance. Kentler notes it is limiting acceptance of new work because of reduced capacity.

Eligibility

Open to local, national and international artists working in drawing and on paper. Priority goes to solo proposals and to artists without a previous solo show at Kentler. Incomplete proposals are not reviewed.

Applications happen on Kentler International Drawing Space's website. Seeke reviews and indexes the listing but does not accept applications.
