Grant · New York City artists
Café Royal Visual Grant, Fall 2026
Café Royal Cultural Foundation
You should apply if you're a visual artist who has lived in New York City for at least a year.
About
The Café Royal Cultural Foundation funds visual art projects by New York City artists with grants of up to $10,000. The money covers project costs such as materials and production; applicants may not pay themselves artist fees or stipends, and shipping is limited to the domestic U.S. The finished work must be exhibited no sooner than January 31, 2027 and no later than December 17, 2027. The Fall 2026 cycle closes on November 2, 2026, or earlier if it reaches 40 applications, so applying early matters. The same project may be submitted at most twice.
Eligibility
U.S. citizens or residents who live in New York City, have lived there for at least one year before applying, and will stay through the project; the applicant must be the originator of the artwork.
Applications happen on Café Royal Cultural Foundation's website. Seeke reviews and indexes the listing but does not accept applications.
