About
Artist Trust Fellowship Awards are merit-based, unrestricted $10,000 awards to practicing professional artists of exceptional talent who live in Washington State, given annually in any discipline. Fifteen awards are listed for this cycle, including named awards with extra eligibility rules. Applications open October 5 and close November 2, 2026, submitted through Submittable. A multidisciplinary panel of five artists reviews applications between November and January, the board votes in February, and artists are notified in March 2027. Selection weighs artistic excellence, the artist's background and experience, and continued dedication to their practice.
Eligibility
Artists aged 18+ residing in Washington State at application and payment; not matriculated students at the deadline; not 2019-2026 Fellowship recipients or repeat winners; individuals or artist teams, not organizations.
