About
The Central Minnesota Arts Board's Individual Artist Award gives $3,500 to outstanding artists living in Benton, Sherburne, Stearns or Wright counties, known as Region 7W. The award recognizes and supports individual artists at various stages of their careers, with funding provided by The McKnight Foundation. Applicants use the board's online grant system, which has an applicant tutorial and draft questions in the guidelines. The application deadline is Thursday, January 14, 2027. A panel reviews applications on February 18, 2027, and the board votes on March 11, 2027. Artists may receive up to $5,000 in Individual Artist awards over a lifetime.
Eligibility
Self-identified artists aged 18 or older who live in Benton, Sherburne, Stearns or Wright County, have lived in Minnesota for at least six months, and are US citizens or permanent residents.
