Craigardan Summer 2027 Residencies
Craigardan
You should apply if you're a visual artist, writer or culinary artist able to cover part of a residency fee for summer 2027.
About
Craigardan offers residencies of a week or more between May 1 and November 1, 2027 for visual artists, writers, culinary artists and researchers. Every accepted resident receives a $1,550-per-week fellowship toward the $2,300 weekly cost, leaving $750 per week to pay; work exchange, teaching, master artist and other named fellowships reduce or cover the balance. Applicants send a CV, a letter of intent on how they would use the residency and contribute to the community, and 5 to 10 images of recent work with an image script. A rotating committee reviews applications and notifies everyone by January 15, 2027; a 50% deposit is due February 1.
Eligibility
Open to visual artists, writers, culinary artists and researchers; no geographic or career-stage limits are stated. Residents cover personal expenses, materials and travel.
Applications happen on Craigardan's website. Seeke reviews and indexes the listing but does not accept applications.
