About

Triangle Arts Association in DUMBO, Brooklyn, offers three-month studio residencies to about 16 artists a year, four per season, from June 2027 to May 2028. Residents get 24-hour access to large studios of 180 to 500 square feet with 13-foot ceilings, studio visits with curators and critics several times a month, and an open studio in the final month. There is no required project or exhibition. Every resident also joins a three-day intensive on May 27–29, 2028, built around the year's theme, The Fourth Wall. Housing is not provided for the studio residency. Decisions come March 30.

Eligibility

US-based or international artists and collectives in any medium, at any career stage, with preference for artists who need space. Residents must work at least 15 hours a week in the studio and attend the full intensive; alumni get lower priority, and artists in partner countries apply through their local call.

Applications happen on Triangle Arts Association's website. Seeke reviews and indexes the listing but does not accept applications.
