About
The Holter Museum of Art in Helena, Montana reviews exhibition proposals four times a year; the Q4 selection is December 9, with submissions due December 6. Shows run from six weeks to three months, are scheduled one to three years ahead, and are placed in a gallery chosen by the curator and executive director. Solo and multi-artist proposals are both accepted. Applicants submit a cover letter describing the proposed exhibition, an artist statement, biography, CV, any education or outreach plans, a budget or special needs, an image list and 10 to 20 labelled images through the museum's online form. Applicants hear back within two weeks of the selection date.
Eligibility
Proposals are accepted from artists nationwide and internationally, individually or with collaborators (two or more artists may propose together).
