About
Tiger Strikes Asteroid Philadelphia, the artist-run gallery, is taking submissions for its annual open call exhibition, Daylight. Savings. Time., a curated group show about time that runs January 9 to February 13, 2027, with a reception on January 14. Gallery members choose the work, weighing the theme, how feasible each installation is and the artist statements, and they keep the pool in mind for future curatorial projects through the year. Artists submit up to five images online. At least a third of the selected artists will be from the Philadelphia area. Accepted work must be ready to hang or install and reach the gallery by December 30, 2026; the gallery provides professional documentation of the show and takes a 30% commission on sales.
Eligibility
Open to artists 18 and over working in any medium; collaborative teams and collectives may apply under one application. Artists outside Philadelphia may apply but pay their own shipping, and at least a third of the show will be Philadelphia-area artists. Artists from historically under-recognized communities are encouraged to apply.
