About

Perspective Gallery, a nonprofit photography cooperative in Evanston, Illinois, is taking entries for LENS 2027, its 17th annual international juried exhibition of fine art photography. Any subject matter and photographic process is welcome except AI-generated images. Photographers submit up to five JPEGs made within the past five years through the entry link on the gallery's call page. Juror Anne Leighton Massoni, executive director and curator of the Houston Center for Photography, selects the show and awards a $300 juror's prize plus $200 and $150 runner-up awards. The exhibition runs March 4 to 28, 2027, with an opening reception and awards on March 6 and a virtual artists' talk on March 11. The gallery keeps a 40% commission on sales.

Eligibility

Open to photographers anywhere; international entrants are welcome and the gallery can print their work at the artist's cost. Images must have been made in the past five years, AI images are not accepted, and work previously shown at Perspective Gallery is ineligible. Accepted work must be framed under plexiglass with hanging wire.

Applications happen on Perspective Gallery's website. Seeke reviews and indexes the listing but does not accept applications.
