Erich Sokol Prize 2027/2028
Karikaturmuseum Krems (Kunstmeile Krems)
You should apply if you're 18 or older, anywhere, and draw caricature, satire or critical illustration, digitally or by hand.
About
The SOKOL Prize for digital caricature, critical drawing and satire is awarded every five years by the State of Lower Austria with the Karikaturmuseum Krems, in memory of the caricaturist Erich Sokol. Artists submit a portfolio of caricatures and satirical graphics on a theme of their choice between June 1 and December 31, 2026. Winners for 2027/2028 are honoured at a gala in July 2027, after which the awarded works are shown in an exhibition at the Karikaturmuseum Krems.
Eligibility
Artists aged 18 and over worldwide, including students and graduates of art or graphic design programmes and practising artists.
Applications happen on Karikaturmuseum Krems (Kunstmeile Krems)'s website. Seeke reviews and indexes the listing but does not accept applications.
