From a Woman's Hand 2027
Key West Art & Historical Society
You should apply if you're a woman living full- or part-time in the Florida Keys making painting, drawing, photography, mixed media or sculpture.
About
The Key West Art & Historical Society's biennial juried exhibition of women artists from the Florida Keys returns to the Bumpus Gallery at the Key West Museum of Art & History from February 19 to March 28, 2027. Artists submit one original work made in the past three years, on a theme of their choice, as a digital image; submissions open November 4, 2026. A four-person panel from the Society, the Key West Art Center, the Anne McKee Artists Fund and The Studios of Key West selects the show, and notifications go out January 27. Accepted work is hand-delivered on February 15. First, second and honorable mentions are named; there are no cash prizes.
Eligibility
Women who live full- or part-time in Monroe County, Florida (the Florida Keys). Original work from the past three years only; no AI-generated work and no giclées or reproductions. 2D work must be ready to hang and 3D work must stand or hang on its own.
Applications happen on Key West Art & Historical Society's website. Seeke reviews and indexes the listing but does not accept applications.
