G. & A. Mamidakis Foundation Art Prize 2027
G. & A. Mamidakis Foundation
You should apply if you make large-scale sculpture or installation and want to propose a permanent outdoor work in Crete.
About
The G. & A. Mamidakis Foundation's annual Art Prize, founded in 2019, funds a contemporary artist to create a new site-specific work for permanent display in Agios Nikolaos, Crete, which then joins the foundation's collection. The 2027 edition asks for proposals for a large-scale outdoor sculptural installation that will act as a landmark in its setting. Proposals are judged on originality and their response to the site.
Eligibility
Open to contemporary artists from anywhere in the world proposing a large-scale outdoor sculptural work.
Applications happen on G. & A. Mamidakis Foundation's website. Seeke reviews and indexes the listing but does not accept applications.
