About

The Herberger Theater Center's galleries in downtown Phoenix invite Arizona artists to respond to the theme "Inspired by Andy Warhol," with work that reflects, responds to or reimagines Pop Art's ideas and visual language: celebrity, consumer culture, advertising, repetition and everyday objects. Artists submit up to six images online or by mail, and work is chosen through a blind jury by curators Connie and A.O. Tucker. The exhibit runs April 2 to May 16, 2027. All work must be for sale, priced at no more than $3,000, with 30% of each sale supporting the theater's youth and community programs.

Eligibility

Open to artists residing in Arizona, 18 and older. Accepted media: painting, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, glass, photography, giclées of paintings, ceramic and sculpture. Work must be for sale, available for the full exhibit, and wall pieces must be under 50 lbs and wired to hang.

Applications happen on Herberger Theater Center Art Galleries's website. Seeke reviews and indexes the listing but does not accept applications.
