About
Joshua Tree Highlands Artist Residency hosts artists in the high desert next to Joshua Tree National Park, with residency periods across 2027 and 2028 including May to June and August to October 2027. Past residents work across drawing, painting, photography, sculpture, film, video, new media, installation, writing, social practice and architecture. Residents arrange their own transportation, and a vehicle is needed. Applications are open from September 15 to December 15, 2026.
Eligibility
Artists aged 18 or older at any career stage, from the US or abroad, in any medium.
