About
The association Lendhauer invites proposals for public-space projects at the Lendhafen, Klagenfurt's harbor where water, infrastructure, leisure and ecology meet, on the 2027 theme Urban Ecologies: Coexistence and Control. Installations, interventions, performances and process-based projects are all welcome. Each selected project receives up to 4,000 euros for production, an artist's fee of up to 2,500 euros and up to 1,000 euros for travel, and is realized between June and September 2027 with Lendhauer's help on permits and logistics. Applicants email one PDF of up to 15 MB with a proposal of up to three pages, a cost estimate, a CV and a portfolio of up to 10 pages. A jury reviews the proposals and all applicants hear back by the end of December 2026.
Eligibility
Artists, designers, architects, performers, theorists and interdisciplinary practitioners, individually or as collectives, based in Austria or abroad.
