About
PhotoIreland is choosing the artists it puts forward to FUTURES, the European photography platform it belongs to, for 2027. Selected artists get a €500 participation fee, travel, accommodation and per diem to the platform's annual event in Vienna in October 2027, talks and workshops there, Magnum workshops made for FUTURES artists, and the chance to apply for the platform's travelling exhibition and mentoring sessions. They are also featured online and in the tenth-anniversary publication. Apply by emailing a single PDF with low-resolution images of your latest project; the jury meets November 30 to December 20, and selected artists send final files by January 17, 2027.
Eligibility
Lens-based artists working in photography and its expanded practices who are based in Ireland or the UK, or are Irish or UK artists working abroad. There is no requirement for formal training or a set level of experience.
