About
The Munich Department of Arts and Culture funds up to five temporary art interventions in public space for the 2027 Annuale of Public Art München. Each project can receive a budget of up to 15,000 euros gross, and the call sets no theme, form or site under the heading of free spaces. Artists plan, obtain permits for and carry out the work themselves, and the project must run in Munich in 2027 with free admission. Applicants email a PDF with a concept of two pages, a short biography, timing, a cost estimate and a mediation strategy. A selection panel decides, and answers follow about two months after the deadline.
Eligibility
Artists with a place of residence in the Munich S-Bahn area. All disciplines and media are accepted, and each artist may submit only one application.
