RI 215th Exhibition 2027 Open Call
Mall Galleries
You should apply if you're an artist aged 18 or over, anywhere, painting in watercolour or water-based media.
About
The Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours is taking submissions for its 215th annual exhibition at Mall Galleries in London, shown in the gallery and online alongside work by its elected members. The RI, founded in 1831, looks for contemporary watercolour and water-based media painting from emerging and established artists. Artists enter up to six works online, with up to four selected by a committee of RI members. Exhibited artists can sell work and are eligible for prizes and awards worth over £15,000, including the Winsor & Newton Award (£3,000, materials and a two-day residency) and a Young Artist Award for ages 18 to 25.
Eligibility
Any artist aged 18 or over, from anywhere in the world. Work must be original watercolour or water-based media painting completed within the last three years.
Applications happen on Mall Galleries's website. Seeke reviews and indexes the listing but does not accept applications.
