About
The Roxbury Arts Group administers the Delaware County Arts Grant, part of the New York State Council on the Arts’ Statewide Community Regrant program. Its Individual Artist category offers $1,500 to $5,000 in commissioning support, with no match required, for a working artist to create a new series or body of work in a community setting; the community must be involved in presenting the work or in its development. Before applying, artists email the Creative Opportunities Coordinator with a project title, goals and plan for community involvement to receive a letter of commitment, and must attend one of the scheduled information sessions. Applications open October 17, 2026; panels meet in mid-March and decisions go out at the end of March 2027.

Individual artists who live in Delaware County, New York, with proof of residency. Attending a grant information session is required, and no fiscal sponsor or community partner is needed for this category.
